陶芸家である父の病のため、再び島に戻って来た男はままならない人生に、嫌気がさしていた。
どんな場所にいても、その場所に満足のいかない男が物語の最後に手に入れたものとは？
アイスランドの首都、レイキャヴィークと沖縄の那覇市で撮影が行われた作品。
東京から三時間の島「沖縄」とロンドンから三時間の島「アイスランド」を舞台に、「太陽」と「氷」をモチーフにして、主人公の成長を垣間見る物語。
オールキャストを沖縄とアイスランドの方々の協力を得て実現した作品です。

This work was shot in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, and Naha, Okinawa.
Set in the island "Okinawa" three hours from Tokyo and the island "Iceland" three hours from London, a story that gives a glimpse of the growth of the main character with the motifs of "sun" and "ice".
This is a work that realized the all cast with the cooperation of the people of Okinawa and Iceland.

6作の短編のうち、長い時間の主人公を追いかけてその成長の過程を緩やかに表現したものはこの作品だけになります。
馴染み深い島「沖縄」と新しく出会いのあった「アイスランド」。この二つの島の「違い」と「共通点」の中に物語を感じ、この作品にたどり着きました。
伝統工芸という受け継いでいくべきものと、受け継ぐ先として「子孫」という選択肢のない今の日本に暮らすLGBTの主人公の成長を感じてもらえれば。
 
Of the six short films, this is the only one that gently expresses the process of growth by chasing the hero for a long time.
Two islands appear in this story. One is the familiar island "Okinawa" and the other is "Iceland" where I met new people. I felt a story in the "differences" and "commonalities" of these two islands, and arrived at this work.
I hope you can feel the growth of the LGBT hero who lives in Japan today, where there is no choice of "descendants" as a place to inherit and what should be inherited as traditional crafts.
